Me, Myself, and l

Art Print Designed by Roaa Alahmed

A believer is in a constant battle to become the best version of themselves in order to draw closer to their Lord. Ramadan is the most challenging month to confront one’s nafs.

The soul that commands evil:

“And I do not absolve myself. Indeed, the soul is surely inclined toward evil.” — Surah Yusuf

The reassured soul:

“O reassured soul, return to your Lord, pleased and pleasing. Enter among My servants, and enter My Paradise.” — Surah Al-Fajr

The self-reproaching soul:

“I swear by the Day of Resurrection, and I swear by the self-reproaching soul.” — Surah Al-Qiyamah

O Allah, I hope for Your mercy.

O Allah, let us win this war within ourselves.

O Allah, do not leave me to myself even for the blinking of an eye.

There is none worthy of worship but You.
